This policy explains what personal data Udrone Aerial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. collects, why, and what we do with the aerial imagery we capture. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

1. Data we collect from you

• Contact details you submit through our enquiry and quotation forms — name, organisation, email, phone number.
• Project details you provide — site location, deliverables required, timelines, budget indication.
• Correspondence with our team.
• Standard server logs and basic analytics when you visit this site.

2. Why we use it

• To prepare and issue a quotation and written scope.
• To plan, file airspace permissions for, and deliver the work you engage us for.
• To raise invoices and meet our statutory accounting and GST obligations.
• To respond to your enquiries, and to send project-related updates.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Aerial imagery and incidental capture

Aerial survey inevitably captures whatever is on the ground, which can include people, vehicles and neighbouring property. We take this seriously.

• We fly the minimum area required by the agreed scope.
• We do not deliberately capture identifiable individuals, and we do not use facial recognition or any automated identification on our imagery.
• Where incidental capture of people or vehicle registration plates occurs in a publicly facing deliverable, we blur it on request and, for published media, as a matter of routine.
• We never fly over an assembly of people, in line with the Drone Rules, 2021.
• Imagery of a client site is treated as that client's confidential material.

4. Airspace filings

Operating lawfully requires us to submit pilot, aircraft and flight details to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation through the Digital Sky portal, and in some cases to airport or local authorities. Where a filing requires client or site details, we tell you before submitting.

5. Storage and retention

• Project data is stored on access-controlled cloud infrastructure located in India.
• Raw flight data is retained for 12 months after delivery so we can re-process or re-issue a deliverable, then deleted unless you ask us to keep it.
• Flight logs and clearance records are retained for the period required by aviation regulation.
• Accounting records are retained for the period required by Indian tax law.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we have no continuing legal obligation to retain it. Write to hello@udrone.in and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

This site uses only what is needed to serve pages and understand aggregate traffic. We do not run advertising trackers. Your browser settings can block cookies without breaking the site.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects an active project, tell you directly.
